Speaker Rolling Case: Rana Sanaullah demands resignation of President Alvi

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Thursday demanded the resignation of President Arif Ali.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah said that the detailed decision of the Supreme Court in the Speaker Rolling case was historic.

He said that according to the decision, the President, the then Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Deputy Speaker had committed fraud with the Constitution.

According to the Home Minister, after the decision of the Supreme Court, the President should at least resign from his post.

He further said that after the decision of the Supreme Court, the funeral of Imran Khan Niazi has come out.

"The verdict proved that Imran Khan can go to any low level for his politics."

"This decision recognizes the rule of law and the right of the people to rule," he said, adding that the Supreme Court's decision was a significant step towards constitutional rule.

The Home Minister said that under Article Six of the Constitution, the power to take action lies with the Federal Government and work has been started in this regard.

Replying to a question, the Home Minister said that he had sought permission from the Cabinet to arrest Imran Khan.

PTI responds to Supreme Court decision

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry in his response to the detailed decision of the Supreme Court has said that when the PTI came with a two-thirds majority, this decision will be overturned by the Assembly.

He told a news conference on Thursday that after revoking the decision of the assembly, the parliament would decide whether Article 6 violates Article 69 or not.

Fawad Chaudhry asked him what would be the punishment if the judges violated the constitution or any individual violated the constitution.

If judges are punished for violating the constitution, then the matter will be worse. "You know how Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged and if that trial is open and in that case the then Supreme Court judges had to be expelled, it will be a big problem."

He said that judges should be careful in such matters and respect the mandate of Pakistan's largest political power. "In the same way, let the political decisions of Pakistan be made in the political arena."

He said that judges and generals have to choose their own career so they have to make decisions according to their dignity.

"It cannot be that the commission has been taken in the army and it is politics. You do politics or do your job. '

Fawad Chaudhry also questioned the timing of the issuance of the detailed decision of the Supreme Court in the news conference and said that by-elections are to be held two days later.

On the other hand, Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet that "the blood of the Establishment is in their mouths to make political decisions, unfortunately this is our history but this thing cannot last long after such a big media revolution." The people of Pakistan must be given the right to make decisions. It is not possible for a few journals, judges to make policy decisions in closed rooms.
